14 Oct 2011 - Narita, San Francisco, Dallas, Lawton

Apologies for the lack of updates. He had gone to America for slightly more than 3 weeks with only his Android, and the bed was getting in the way of blogging....

Embarking on his journey across timezones, he boarded UA804 Boeing 777 which left for Narita, Tokyo at 7.10am. Here's what for lunch, some chicken noodle set.

Touched down at Narita some 7 hours later, and had a mad rush because of the tight connecting flight on UA838 Boeing 747-400. Started the flight against time.

Dinner was served shortly, beef stroganoff if he remembered correctly.

Some snacks to fill the gap all the way until breakfast

Breakfast of sausage, omelette and hash-brown.

Moon in the distance, snapped just before reaching San Francisco.

Finally reached San Francisco, buttocks almost numb. Another mad rush for the flight to Dallas. Met a very rude TSA officer named Deras who slammed his passport on the counter. No idea why he did that, too much energy perhaps. No time to quarrel, flight to catch.

No onboard meals from SFO to Dallas, so he grabbed a quick lunch at McDonald's after touching down in Dallas. Juicy chicken breast meat in this Crispy Club Chicken. USD7.29

Finally onboard the propeller. Nice sunset, snoozed all the way.
