ran out of luck for lunch at hello fastfood. this cost 80NT as compared to 65NT the previous day

lunch portions had been small and in the region of 80NT recently. until they found this shop called "hello fastfood".

got the below for lunch for just 65NT. very satisfying, mmm...


took a picture of the standard bento that the ladies were packing, just $60. even he just had his meal, he felt hungry again just by looking at it.

revisited chi shang fan bao for their trademark bento again. chup chai png really, but in somehow more appealing.

time for lunch again.

got the braised pork belly bento from 池上饭包 again, albeit from a different branch. this time, the pork skin did not melt in the mouth, a little disappointed, but overall it was still good. note the number of times he had fatty meat during this period. more to come.


even more disappointment when his colleagues' huge chicken cutlet arrived. his stomach growled.

the all-knowing jason actually got bento for us from a 池上 branch in hengchun. superb stuff, especially the braised pork belly which he finished off too fast to shoot.

anyway, a peek at the trademark bento - japanese style roast pork, taiwanese sausage slice and all other stuff you see in the picture. smacking good out in the middle of nowhere.
